HOW IT WORKS

01

Buy & Lock

02

Your tokens are safely locked. No action needed. Just wait for the raffle.

03

Raffle & Unlock

Winner drawn via Chainlink VRF. Then tokens unlock in FIFO order over 7 days. Zero loss.

RULES

  • Buy and lock $BAES in a single atomic transaction (previous holdings don't count)
  • Minimum $10 per entry. More entries = higher chance of winning (weighted raffle)
  • Tokens locked until May 1, 2026. No early unlocking
  • After raffle: FIFO unlock over 7 days. First locker unlocks first
  • 100% of your $BAES tokens returned. Zero loss
  • Provably fair: Chainlink VRF ensures randomness is verifiable onchain

FAQ

How do I enter the raffle?

Click "Join Raffle", choose how much you want to spend, and confirm. Your ETH is swapped to $BAES and locked in a single transaction. Each $10 entry gives you one raffle ticket. The more tickets you have, the higher your chance of winning.

How does the entry system work?

Everyone enters at the same USD price point — $10 per ticket. You pay in ETH, and the smart contract swaps it to $BAES at the current market rate and locks those tokens. This means every participant pays the same dollar amount per entry, regardless of the $BAES price at the time. It keeps the raffle fair even if the token price moves.

I already hold $BAES. Can I lock them to enter?

No. The smart contract only accepts ETH. It buys $BAES on the open market and locks them for you in a single atomic transaction. You can't send existing $BAES to the contract for entries.

Can I interact with the contract directly instead of using the app?

Yes, but the rules are identical. The contract requires ETH, swaps it to $BAES via DEX, and locks the tokens. There's no function that accepts $BAES transfers for entries. Entry count is calculated from the ETH you send, priced against the live Chainlink ETH/USD feed.

What happens to locked tokens during the campaign?

All locked $BAES stays in the smart contract until the unlock period. These tokens can't be traded, transferred, or withdrawn until after the raffle is drawn and your debonding window opens.

What exactly do I get back after the raffle?

You get back the exact amount of $BAES tokens that were locked for you — not the ETH you originally spent. For example, if your entry locked 500 $BAES, you'll get 500 $BAES back after the raffle, win or lose. The dollar value of those tokens may be higher or lower than what you paid, since $BAES trades freely on the market.

So is there any risk?

Your token amount is guaranteed — you'll always get back exactly as many $BAES as were locked. The only variable is the market price of $BAES itself, which can go up or down like any token. You won't lose tokens, but their dollar value may fluctuate.

What if I don't win?

You get all your $BAES back. The only thing you miss out on is the Nintendo Switch 2. Think of it as temporarily parking your tokens for a shot at winning.

How is the winner chosen?

By Chainlink VRF — a verifiable random number generator that runs entirely onchain. No one can influence or predict the result. More entries means a higher chance of winning, but the selection itself is provably random and publicly verifiable by anyone.

When do I get my tokens back?

After the raffle is drawn on May 1, tokens unlock over 7 days in the order they were locked. If you locked early, you unlock early.

Can something go wrong?

If the raffle is cancelled for any reason, you can withdraw all your tokens immediately. The smart contract is verified and open source on Basescan.

What is $BAES?

$BAES is the canonical token of Bario Entertainment System, an onchain gaming console and marketplace on Base where you can discover, collect, and play 50+ games as mintable cartridges.

Where is the smart contract?

The raffle smart contract is verified and open source on Base. You can inspect every line of code on Basescan:
